I'm with you on the plant-based choices — sometimes it's nice to only have one or two options! It makes you see the wisdom of wearing a uniform like Steven Jobs or Mark Zuckerberg as well.
Gotta admit, I've been highly skeptical of KINDS OF KINDNESS just because it has been released so soon after POOR THINGS. This has convinced me to watch it with an open mind. Can't wait to read more!
Happy to hear it! As you can tell, I found the first chapter to be really striking. The others… might not be most folks’ cup of tea. In terms of the speed of work, as someone who worked in post for years, I’m sure Poor Things took forever in post production. Kinds of Kindness was not as heavy of an sfx lift, so the timing is the least concerning thing about this film to me!
That's a really good point. I'm an actor, so my thought process was oriented around how Emma Stone could have done back-to-back shoots with the same director in such a short amount of time. Then I remembered that POOR THINGS was shot in 2021, which would have given her some time away from Bella Baxter before going into KINDS OF KINDNESS. Moral of the story? SFX rocks.
